Pastrami Sandwich

The Baconers' Pastrami Bacon

Serves 2 (the more bacon on each sandwich, the better)


  • 12oz pack of The Baconers' Pastrami Thick Cut Bacon Strips- the more the better
  • Marbled rye - lightly toasted
  • Ba-Tampte mustard
  • Mayo or something kind of mild aioli
  • Pickels (spicy)
  • Havarti cheese


  1. Fry the strips using The Baconer’s secret method, and set aside.
  2. Lightly toast the bread on one side, leaving the other side un-toasted. If you are lucky enough to live in a place with a toaster, toast both sides!
  3. On one (the un-toasted) side, spread mustard and mayo.
  4. Slice the cheese and lay on the mustard side.
  5. Add pickles on top of the cheese.
  6. Place cooked pastrami bacon on top of the pickles.
  7. Close that puppy up, slice and eat...goes down well with beer.
