Lardons (thick bacon pieces cut into 1/4" morsels) are our favorite way to enjoy bacon - crispy on the outside, hot and chewy in the middle! Throw a handful on the skillet and add to eggs, salads, pastas, veggies, braises and pretty much any food that tastes better with a bit of bacon (are there any that don't?).

SKILLET (Strip, Bacon Steaks, Lardons)

  • Lay single layer of bacon in a cold skillet with juuuust enough water to cover the bottom of the pan.
  • Set heat to med-hi and completely cook off the water
  • Lower to med heat and brown first side
  • Flip and fry second side to desired crispiness

OVEN (Strips, Bacon Steaks)

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F degrees
  • On a foil lined baking sheet, lay bacon in a single layer
  • Bake until desired doneness is achieved, about 20 minutes

GRILL (Bacon Steaks)

  • Lay Bacon Steaks directly on med-hot grates and grill until you’ve got good grill lines
  • Flip and grill opposite side

Ship as much bacon as you want for just $9!

We ship orders 2-day delivery with USPS and FedEx. Shipments go out Mon-Wed to avoid packages being held in transit over the weekend. Your bacon leaves our warehouse frozen, wrapped in insulation with freezer packs, and may arrive thawed. This is completely normal, rest assured it was very cold most of the trip and can tolerate thawing in transit. We recommend refrigerating upon receipt, you can even refreeze without any damage to quality.

Super happy with my order from Baconer. Used the Pastrami Lardons in Carbonara. Otherworldly! Going to do Paprika Lardons in Paella soon. Perfect speedy delivery...excellent packaging. Great value!
